This is the X10 ActiveHome brand 6-in-1 Infrared Universal Remote Control model JR20A. This is the JR20A remote control from the MK19A Mouse-Remote kit. It can definitely control 6 devices that are not PC related.
The JR20A allows you to control the basic functions of most of your audio/video products. You can also control your lights and appliances as well without having to be in the same room. Can be used to replace up to 6 different infrared remotes. Includes a separate DSS (Sat) and X10 keys. Code library includes listings for most TVs, VCRs, cable boxes, satellite (including DSS), CD players, laser disk players, and home automation. Can control DVD players by finding the code using the remotes search function.
Easy to setup, just look up the code for the TV, VCR etc. and enter it into the remote using a simple key sequence. Even if there is no code listed for your particular equipment, you can use the remotes search function to try to find one that will work. This increases the likelihood that the remote will work with virtually any audio/video product. Also, sometimes using an alternate code allows you to find one where the keys more closely match what they are labeled for.
Can control X10 home automation products when used with any wireless transceiver, any X10 security system base receiver, or an infrared to X10 converter (IR543), along with the appropriate X10 modules to control your lights and appliances. For just one example, this would allow you to switch and dim the lights in a home theater application. You can even use it to operate IR controlled air conditioning, fans, and drapery controls. The RF portion of this remote is for X10 home automation only. Works with other great products from X10 including ActiveHome, Wireless Videosender, and the wireless Remote Extender (PowerMid).

The PC control buttons (in RED above) appear to work only for PC use. Expect the PC mouse functions and buttons to not work at all for standard infrared remote control functions. They appear not to be able to be programmed with any IR codes. They are meant for controlling devices thru your PC which you set up via PC software. If by chance you can use them for anything--great. We just want you to be sure not to expect anything of any of the PC control buttons. We could not get the PC mouse control software to install on XP 32 bit or Windows 7 64 bit so we could not do any further testing as to functionality of the PC keys. The remote by itself seems like it would make a decent enough universal remote so we thought we would offer just it.
These are brand new in bulk and come in bubble padded bags. They are not in retail packaging. These include the owners manual with code list and 4 AAA batteries.
