This is the X-10 ActiveHome 2-way USB computer interface model CM15A. This is the newest version of the classic ActiveHome CM11A interface. It's capable of doing much more though. Future expandability is built right in by adding software modules as they become available.

- SW32A Smart Macros Software. The SmartMacro Software Module adds "conditional capability" to macros. This means it can check to be sure one or more conditions exist before running a macro. When shipped, we will email you the links that you will use to download the software titles along with the registration codes to activate them. We will also include a packing slip with the same activation codes, links, and X10's telephone support number for help with any software issues.The warranty for the CM15A is for 2 years. For a defective CM15A, we will replace it with a new one thru X10. You would need to contact X10 support first and if they determine it to be defective, then we will give you instructions on how to obtain an RMA number and shipping address to send the CM15A back to X10 for a replacement. They have had a lot of problems with these in the past that is either software or hardware related and we cannot afford to ship out replacement CM15A's at will. By doing the RMA thru X10, they will pay shipping costs for the replacement. From our own very limited use of any of X10's software, we have not been too impressed with the reliability of any of their software. We have had numerous requests to carry the CM15A, so now we do. We've had customers tell us the CM15A works great. From our own limited experience though, not so much. Anyhow, if you purchase one, we will of course honor the warranty, but it will be done thru X10. Also, there are no refunds on the CM15A since the software titles can't be returned as they are an online secure download.
