These are magnetic contacts that work perfectly with the X-10 Powerflash module (PSC01 or PF284). Simply wire one of these to the terminals of a Powerflash module to use to trigger it. You set the Powerflash module to INPUT B (dry contact closure). Then you set the Powerflash module to MODE 1, 2, or 3 to activate various modules or trigger Powerhorn sirens. For example, you could put the contacts on a door so the Powerflash turns on a light when the door is opened and off when it's closed. Use a chime to sound each time the door is opened.
- MODE 1: Turns on all lights and a selected appliance module that you have set by the house and unit codes on the front of the unit. When reset, the lights remain on and the appliance module turns off.
- MODE 2: Flashes all lights on and off. This will also activate any of the X10 security system Powerhorn sirens SH10A or PH508. When reset, the lights remain on.
- MODE 3: Turns on a selected lamp, wall switch, or appliance module (that you have set by the house and unit codes on the front of the unit) when tripped and turns it off when reset.
