Plunger activated switch triggers the PSC01 or PF284 Powerflash module.

SPST, silver plated contacts for reliability and long-term operation.

Plunger activated. When the plunger is pushed in, the contacts are open. When the plunger is released, the contacts are closed.

The plunger needs at least 1/4 inch travel to make or break the connection.

Easy two screw connectivity. Just wire in any length wire as needed to connect to the Powerflash.

Rated for a maximum of 1/2 Amp at 50 Volts DC.

Mounts with wood or metal screws (not included).

Can be used with any wired security system that can use normally open (N.O. when set) contacts as long as the specs above match your system.

This is a plunger activated switch that works with the X-10 Powerflash module (PSC01 or PF284). Simply wire one of these to the terminals of a Powerflash module to use to trigger it. You set the Powerflash module to INPUT B (dry contact closure). Then you set the Powerflash module to MODE 1, 2, or 3 to activate various modules or trigger Powerhorn sirens. For example, you could put the contacts on a door so the Powerflash turns on a light when the door is opened and off when it's closed. You can even use a chime to sound each time the door is opened. Can be used directly on metal surfaces such as safe doors, gun cabinets, steel doors, metal lids and covers where magnetic contacts may not work. Measurement in inches are (LxWxH) 2-3/4 x 1-1/16 x 5/8. The length includes the plunger. The switches contacts are normally open when the switch is set or in other words, they are open when the plunger is pushed in. When the door is opened, the plunger is released completing the circuit and triggering the Powerflash module.

The Powerflash modes you can select when it's triggered are:

MODE 1: Turns on all lights and a selected appliance module that you have set by the house and unit codes on the front of the unit. When reset, the lights remain on and the appliance module turns off.

MODE 2: Flashes all lights on and off. This will also activate any of the X10 security system Powerhorn sirens SH10A or PH508. When reset, the lights remain on.

MODE 3: Turns on a selected lamp, wall switch, or appliance module (that you have set by the house and unit codes on the front of the unit) when tripped and turns it off when reset.
